I got the opportunity on Friday to meet Z Squad while they were at World Race Training Camp. Z Squad launches in January for their 11-month mission trip – and they are my very first squad to coach along in their fundraising.
Each one of them has to meet the fundraising goal of $15,500, and it’s my job here at Adventures in Missions to help them get there – as a teacher, a resource, and a drill sergeant! And you know I’ve got that last one down. 🙂
This is my new role at Adventures: to help people raise the support they need to follow the calling God has given them. Whether it’s for a mission trip, for a long-term missionary, or for staff coming on board – they need financial resources – and I train them up and coach them on how to do it.
And without further ado – Here’s Z Squad!!

Team No Name
Team Zoa
Team F.I.E.R.C.E.
Team Without Borders
Team Unexpected
Oh my goodness. That is so exciting! I know you will be a fantastic support raising coach for this generation of racers. I’m praying they are all fully funded before they launch!! -Angi (1st Gen G Squad)
PS: They all look so young… So hard to imagine that it was FIVE years ago that I was in the first month of The Race…
I know! Nothing like working for Adventures to make you feel wizened and sage-like at 31, right?! 🙂 They’re an awesome crew and I’m so glad I got to spend a little time with them at camp. Thanks for the encouragement, Angi!!
